具備一定的英語(yǔ)應(yīng)用能力已成為21世紀(jì)國(guó)民的基本要求，對(duì)于以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生實(shí)用技能為主的職高學(xué)校來(lái)說(shuō)尤其重要，提升學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)說(shuō)能力已成為職業(yè)高中英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的重要內(nèi)容之一。然而，職高學(xué)生普遍學(xué)習(xí)自覺(jué)性差、學(xué)習(xí)能力有限，英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)薄弱、口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力更是欠缺。那么，如何能夠在有限的課堂時(shí)間里提高學(xué)生英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)說(shuō)方面的能力，又不至于影響讀寫方面的訓(xùn)練效果呢？經(jīng)過(guò)嘗試，筆者認(rèn)為，實(shí)施英語(yǔ)課前三分鐘演講不失為一種有效的方法。
一、選取適當(dāng)?shù)难葜v主題
因?yàn)槭荈ree Talk，最明顯的問(wèn)題是演講主題的重復(fù)，缺少創(chuàng)新，從而不利于激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣和拓展新的知識(shí)面。于是，筆者想到以下幾點(diǎn)建議：
1．結(jié)合教學(xué)內(nèi)容選取主題
中職教材基礎(chǔ)模塊1 Unit 5 Keeping Fit，可建議學(xué)生就How to Keep Fit這一主題進(jìn)行演講；而Unit 10 Famous People，則可選定A Famous People I like Best的主題，這樣既能確保選材的廣泛性，同時(shí)又把書本內(nèi)容和演講主題有機(jī)地結(jié)合起來(lái)，一方面鍛煉了演講才能，另一方面又達(dá)到鞏固書本知識(shí)的目的。
2．根據(jù)生活實(shí)際選取主題
開(kāi)學(xué)時(shí)讓學(xué)生描述自己豐富的假期生活，學(xué)校舉辦運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)則談?wù)搶?duì)運(yùn)動(dòng)的認(rèn)識(shí)和擅長(zhǎng)的運(yùn)動(dòng)項(xiàng)目。在清明，端午，中秋等傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日時(shí)，讓學(xué)生介紹節(jié)日的特色，幫助學(xué)生更好地了解中國(guó)的傳統(tǒng)文化；在西方感恩節(jié)時(shí)，讓學(xué)生對(duì)“I’d like to say thanks to….”這一主題進(jìn)行演講，以表達(dá)自己對(duì)家人、老師、同學(xué)和朋友的感恩之情。
3．結(jié)合寫話練習(xí)選取主題
選取恰當(dāng)?shù)膶懺捴黝}讓學(xué)生演講，既能起到育人作用，同時(shí)也能以此提高學(xué)生的寫話能力。例如，我選用了“An unforgettable thing””Suggestions on doing sth.”等主題讓學(xué)生演講。學(xué)生廣開(kāi)思路，暢所欲言，通過(guò)這樣的課前演講，積累了素材，為寫話做好了準(zhǔn)備。
二、采用多樣的演講形式
1．學(xué)生個(gè)人自述
大多數(shù)學(xué)生能夠?qū)懞米晕医榻B，但是寫好并不等于說(shuō)好，為了能使學(xué)生流利地進(jìn)行自我介紹，教師可以給學(xué)生提供一個(gè)推銷自我、展現(xiàn)自我的舞臺(tái)，并給予一定的點(diǎn)評(píng)：表達(dá)是否流暢、表現(xiàn)是否大方；內(nèi)容是否包括了姓名、來(lái)自哪里、家庭情況、專業(yè)技術(shù)能力、個(gè)性特征、興趣愛(ài)好、理想等，以幫助學(xué)生改進(jìn)。
2.講故事或故事接力
在課堂上，如果老師能夠偶爾采用有童趣的方法，可以幫助學(xué)生發(fā)散他們的想象力，發(fā)掘他們的創(chuàng)造力，講故事或故事接力就很具代表性。同學(xué)們講的故事最好要淺顯易懂，并且能和所學(xué)專業(yè)相結(jié)合，這樣有助于他們今后走上工作崗位后更好地學(xué)以致用。
3.猜謎語(yǔ)
如介紹班上某位同學(xué)或某位名星或某位著名的作家等等，先不說(shuō)他的名字，通過(guò)描述性的語(yǔ)言讓大家來(lái)猜猜他是誰(shuí)，比比看誰(shuí)猜得又快又準(zhǔn)。
4．角色扮演
如A同學(xué)扮演Doctor，B同學(xué)扮演Patient，情景再現(xiàn)醫(yī)生給病人治病的過(guò)程，還可用上些道具來(lái)輔助表演，如醫(yī)生的白大卦和聽(tīng)診器等；再如可以模仿求職者和招聘官之間的對(duì)話，由老師扮演招聘官，一名學(xué)生扮演求職者，或者招聘官和求職者分別由兩名學(xué)生來(lái)扮演，進(jìn)行模擬對(duì)話，為學(xué)生以后的求職面試打下基礎(chǔ)。
5.聽(tīng)唱英文歌曲
很多的英文歌曲都具有簡(jiǎn)單易記、朗朗上口的特點(diǎn)，如Jingle Bells， Little Stars ， Spring is Where等英文兒歌，Take me to your heart， Two butterflies等流行歌曲。聽(tīng)唱英文歌曲可以激發(fā)同學(xué)們的興趣，還可以訓(xùn)練他們的語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)及發(fā)音。
三、進(jìn)行及時(shí)的評(píng)價(jià)
1．教師當(dāng)場(chǎng)點(diǎn)評(píng)
筆者在每一次演講活動(dòng)結(jié)束后都緊跟著完成點(diǎn)評(píng)，雖然點(diǎn)評(píng)的語(yǔ)句不多，但是實(shí)踐證明這是必不可少的一環(huán)。可點(diǎn)評(píng)的點(diǎn)很多，如演講技巧、文章的立意、最出眾的地方、尚欠缺的地方等。多表?yè)P(yáng)、多鼓勵(lì)，老師恰當(dāng)?shù)狞c(diǎn)評(píng)，演講學(xué)生非常看重，眾多學(xué)生也聽(tīng)得非常認(rèn)真，這是一個(gè)引導(dǎo)的契機(jī)，對(duì)每位學(xué)生的培養(yǎng)所起的作用都很大。
2．評(píng)委評(píng)分
老師和同學(xué)們都是評(píng)委，采用十分制或百分制進(jìn)行打分，算分則可由課代表在課后進(jìn)行。評(píng)分最重要的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)可以從儀容儀表、發(fā)音、語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)語(yǔ)速、現(xiàn)場(chǎng)感染力等多方面來(lái)進(jìn)行評(píng)定。所有同學(xué)演講的最后得分都將記錄在成長(zhǎng)檔案中，作為形成性評(píng)價(jià)的一個(gè)重要依據(jù)。
3．優(yōu)秀演講稿裝訂成冊(cè)
教師選出一些結(jié)構(gòu)清晰、語(yǔ)句通暢、用詞優(yōu)美的優(yōu)秀演講稿，或裝訂成冊(cè)或張貼在教室的宣傳欄上以供全班同學(xué)共同學(xué)習(xí)，積累優(yōu)美的句子和演講的素材，為同學(xué)們今后的演講奠定基礎(chǔ)。注重學(xué)生的成功體驗(yàn)同時(shí)也能激勵(lì)這些優(yōu)秀演講稿的作者進(jìn)一步地提高自己的寫作和演講能力，符合新課標(biāo)的成功激勵(lì)機(jī)制。
四、英語(yǔ)課前演講的實(shí)效
1.提高學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)綜合應(yīng)用能力，尤其是口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力
英語(yǔ)課前三分鐘演講從表面上看來(lái)只是說(shuō)的能力的體現(xiàn)，但背后其實(shí)是英語(yǔ)各方面綜合能力的培養(yǎng)。為了準(zhǔn)備演講稿，課前得去“寫”，這有助于提高學(xué)生的寫作水平；寫好之后，為了能做到脫稿演講事先得背下來(lái)，而背誦演講稿的過(guò)程又是不斷的“讀”的過(guò)程；之后上臺(tái)來(lái)演講，通過(guò)“說(shuō)”的方式把自己想要表達(dá)的意思呈現(xiàn)出來(lái)；而坐在臺(tái)下的同學(xué)則須認(rèn)真的“聽(tīng)”方能理解其演講的主題和內(nèi)容。可見(jiàn)整個(gè)過(guò)程實(shí)際貫穿的就是聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫能力全方位的培養(yǎng)。特別要強(qiáng)調(diào)的是學(xué)生在反復(fù)的朗讀、背誦、復(fù)述的訓(xùn)練過(guò)程中，更為口語(yǔ)的提高打下來(lái)扎實(shí)的語(yǔ)言基礎(chǔ)。
2.培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自主探究、合作交流的學(xué)習(xí)能力
新課標(biāo)要求教師“善于激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣，能夠充分調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性和主動(dòng)性，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生自主探究、合作交流”。英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的最終目的在于運(yùn)用，而課前三分鐘演講則為同學(xué)提供了個(gè)“學(xué)以致用”的舞臺(tái)。學(xué)生為了寫演講稿認(rèn)真準(zhǔn)備、自我探究、鉆研教材，通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)教材明確了如何寫演講稿及演講的技巧等，同學(xué)們利用參與三分鐘演講的方式來(lái)參與課堂教學(xué)，為了三分鐘演講而采用的合作式學(xué)習(xí)方法，都符合了教學(xué)改革的思路，極大地激發(fā)了學(xué)生主動(dòng)學(xué)習(xí)的熱情，從而變“要我學(xué)”為“我要學(xué)”。
3.為職高專業(yè)學(xué)生的職業(yè)生涯奠定基礎(chǔ)
課前三分鐘的英語(yǔ)演講讓絕大多數(shù)的學(xué)生真正意義的感受到“三尺講臺(tái)”，比如如何去克服在講臺(tái)上的緊張、如何去掌控自己的聲音做到抑揚(yáng)頓挫。俗話說(shuō)得好“熟能生巧”，只有經(jīng)常走上臺(tái)來(lái)演講，才能練就教學(xué)中自信從容的儀容儀態(tài)，為小學(xué)教育和學(xué)前教育專業(yè)學(xué)生的職業(yè)生涯奠定基礎(chǔ)。

When it comes to the question whether we spend too much time on personal enjoyment, people’s opinions vary from person to person.
Some think personal enjoyment has taken too much time on our daily schedule. Everywhere we look, there are people playing games, watching movies and doing anything they think is joyful; there are clubs, parties, associations and various forms of sets for attracting different individuals to enjoy their collective hobbies. All above seems common in ordinary people’s daily life, because enjoying life is an indivisible right that god has given to us. However, in their eyes, it’s not only a waste of time, but also an evasion of responsibility. They think the society and nation would become more harmonious and prosperous if people could spend the time for leisure on what they think these people should do, like their jobs, care for the elder people, volunteer services and so on.
Others believe the time for personal enjoyment is appropriate, because the times has changed.
From the huge iron giants to the invisible internet, science and technology has vastly improved human’s efficiency on physical behavior, which means that the work our ancestors need to spend lifetime to do can even only cost us a little effort. Under the circumstances that they have accomplished what they have to do, the rest of time they have the absolute right to arrange. The obligation that the law imposes has fulfilled, and why can’t they spend a little more time on personal enjoyment?
As far as I am concerned, the foundation of social order is built not only by law, but by morality. If we are only satisfied with just finishing what law requires and don’t value what others have sacrificed for making the world better, the human society will become an icy machine to make profits for those with vested interests, indifferently with no mercy. We indeed have more free time to arrange now, but if we can spend the time to help others and benefit the society, the time will be more meaningful and valuable, which finally promote the social progress by those we called examples or heroes. From this perspective, I can say there are more that we should do. We can’t require everyone to be unselfish and sacrifice their leisure for society, but we can start with ourselves and influence others by our action.
